I love fresh fruit desserts and I can't really remember if this dessert is my own creation or something I picked up on my travels. The dessert is made from layers upon layers of fresh summer fruit between single sheets of filo pastry lightly baked and served with fresh cream.
This is truly delightful, layers of bright colours yellows,oranges and reds in a mixture of fibers and textures knitted in garter stitch and gathered at the back.
When I was sorting out yarns for a summer hat I got a wonderfull feeling when I saw what I had selected for my creation and instantly thought of one of my favourite foodstuffs knitted in pure colinette silk, recycled sari silk, baby alpaca and cotton
