I provide a bespoke hand knit design service that can cater to your every knitting desire.

I specialise in out of production and vintage yarns and unusual and romantic original patterns.

Prices vary depening on your chosen yarn, custom pattern, customers pattern, and customers own yarn but start from around £30.00 for a shawl or wrap in your chosen yarn to £50.00 + for a larger piece.

I also provide a custom service for Ruffs, Cuffs, Pendants, Memory Books and Brooches as well as anything else you se on my site. Services for these depend on materials for example the use of customers vintage or precious materials being incorperated into design.

I can cater to tastes such as Romantic, Steampunk, Victoriana and Gothic Lolita as well as the more Traditional .

Gila Monster Top

Designed and made for an american customer from a basic idea for a top made in a Gila Monster pattern

A Gila monster is a south american lizard with distinctive pink and black curved and spotted design.

My client asked me if I could do her a top based on the skin pattern of this distinct lizard. I discussed with her her requirements about yarn and style and we agreed on something similar to Crabapple but in a yarn that would reflect the reptilian aspects of its skin. I suggested a tape yarn that alternated between matt and shiny in pink and black and emailed her some basic designs. Once she had agreed which of the 6 designs she wanted I drew up the design on graph paper and knitted it up.

Harlequin

A fancy neck piece made from blue and cream cotton and decorated with vintage black beads and crochet flowers with petrol effect beading.
Perfect for adding a touch of the theatre to your life.

This was inspired by the tales of Harlequin or the Italian Commedia dell'Arte and the Nymphenburg Commedia Dell’Arte 2008 Couture Edition that are utterly breathtaking. I love the tales of mischief and mystery surrounding the Harlequin and this piece appeals both to a sense of fun and the seriousness that is needed to create and mould yourself into such a character and mindscape.
